The HP Smart Tank 5101 is a thermal inkjet printer featuring print - scan - and copy functions in a compact design It has a 100-sheet paper tray that supports up to 85 x 14 legal-size paper Manual duplex (double-sided) printing is supported after easily assigning the appropriate settings The Smart Tank also allows borderless printing on up to 85 x 11 letter-size paper The black print resolution is up to 1200 x 1200 dpi - and the color print resolution is up to 4800 x 1200 dpi optimized The color resolution reaches the maximum capability only when you're connected to a computer - not when printing over Wi-Fi The average print speed is 12 pages per minute for black prints and 5ppm for color prints Copying and scanning is done via the single-sheet flatbed - which supports up to 85 x 117 paper - so it will accept standard letter-size sheets The scan resolution is up tp 1200 dpi - and the copy resolution is up to 600 dpi The Smart Tank 5101 offers a USB interface for direct-to-computer connectivity - and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for a wireless workflow The Wi-Fi interface enables you to send print commands from your smartphone or tablet via the HP Smart app (iOS/Android) or over AirPrint - Mopria - and Wi-Fi Direct mobile print services
