The Artcore Series AF55 from Ibanez is a hollow-body electric guitar which has a body constructed with a maple top - a maple back and sides - and a set-in mahogany neck with a tobacco flat finish The single-cutaway hollow body delivers a warm - resonant sound that is well suited for blues - country - rock - and jazz The neck is fitted with a 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard which has white dot inlays and chrome tuners The strings are anchored by an ART-ST Tune-O-Matic bridge and VT06 trapeze tailpieceFor electronics - the AF55 is equipped with a pair of Infinity R humbucking pickups in the neck and bridge positions - along with a 3-way pickup selector switch - and master volume and tone controls
